A graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno, Jeremiah has a Master’s Degree in Journalism Media Innovation. Working on multimedia productions including documentary filmmaking, podcasting, media production, and writing.

He has worked as a Cinematographer and Camera Operator for documentary film projects for various production companies in the Reno area, as well as the Reno PBS station. At the start of his career, he worked as a Production Assistant, as Grip and Gaffer. These experiences have furthered his knowledge of video production; ultimately, inspiring him to create Whiterok Pictures.

Jeremiah has filmed documentaries, promotional/educational projects for non-profit organizations, has worked alongside independent filmmakers on passion projects, and has filmed local events, and bands/acts in the Reno area. His recent short documentary about Missing and Murdered Indigenous People entitled “Not Forgotten,” won Best Short Documentary at the 2025 Nevada Women’s Film Festival in Las Vegas, NV.

Jeremiah Sampson, founder of Whiterok Pictures, is a Videographer based in Northern Nevada. He works within Reno and the Washoe County District.
